Joshua Mayes
Adjunct Professor

Josh Mayes is an Air Force Historian with the 628th Air Base Wing at Joint Base Charleston, South Carolina. Under the History and Museums Program established by the United States Air Force to preserve Air Force History, Josh prepares an annual history report of the Wing using extensive collection of historical documents, reference materials, and past periodic histories. Josh also creates heritage pamphlets, studies, and other historical products for publication through Air University Press at Maxwell Air Force Base, Montgomery Alabama. Josh has presented at three professional academic conferences. Josh holds a B.A. in History from the University of Maryland, an M.A. in History from American Military University, and is currently a PhD student in History at the University of South Carolina, Columbia.
