John Draughon Lary received his Ph.D. from Indiana University in 2011.  His dissertation is entitled Communitarianism in Postwar Belgium: From the Flemish Movement to “New Immigrants,” 1954-1993.  It examines the fragmentation of postwar Belgian identity into Flemish, Francophone and “New Immigrant” communities.
